Lighting under the Motorhome, anyone fitted it?

That's a lovely boat you have what model bayliner is it

I built an acrylic housing for my computer many years ago and fitted cpu water cooling and led lighting.....

Forgot to say the leds were sound activated with a speaker in the case.

That's a great idea to have motorhome underlighting, it would be especially good for folk who park up in one spot for a long time, they can keep the grass from turning yellow. ?

With the ability to control it all from anywhere in the world??

I’m struggling to find present for my new Motorhome but came up with a great idea, my boat has underwater lighting which looks great at night, you can see the fish and it looks really snazzy, I was wondering if I should fit a system under my Motorhome that would work remotely with my phone, we have the Hue system with coloured lights through our home and garden maybe I could fit them for when on EHU or go for a 12v version, I’m sure with the correct Hue and light positioning it could make you look as if you are floating on air, you never know if cameras were fitted you could maybe see some small animals ?

I guess I could fit marine underwater lights as they are built for a tough environment, would just like ideas and experience from those of you that already have them fitted. Thanks

You can get them from car detailing places in our neck of the woods it's Road and Rally BUT Ebay has quite a few
if your skills are ok with a soldering iron would recommend getting a reel of LEDS and soldering up custom lengths - - BUT make sure you get waterproof ones and some decent shrink wrap to cover the joints

And here was me thinking the threads on MHF just couldn't get any more ridiculous - then this account turns up.

Bravo

I am now 100% convinced this OP is really Jim trying to liven things up

I thought it was someone from the dark side? Whoever it is, it's clearly a windup.

Dont you think your a bit old to be playing with model boats
My regular dog walk is around the local lake and a RC boat club meet there on a Sunday and some of them are stunning, mostly operated by old gits !
USS Arizona is my favourite, it`s about four foot long and can fire the main guns at lesser ships.
I think 596 has the real thing, if we believe his posts

I reckon we should all have underbody lights, the lights need to be connected so they can change colour to the beat pitch and frequency of the music being played. Then we should turn up to where the youngsters display thier cars and ahow them how lighting should really be done...whilst relaxing with a cocktail or two

Mines that tall I have to display a red light at the top to warn aircraft ?
Ahh But does it have the LED Flying saucer light unit to light up the flag at the top of my light weight cold drawn aluminium slot together, with traditional rope and pully system , like mine does.
or is yours just a recycled fishin rod

Now you know mines just a fishing rod ?

No point in being able to use a rope to raise and lower the flag.
I can’t play the bugle ?

These are ideal and come in a waterproof silicone case Ebay Link

I seem to recall that Techno got into remote control boats ... I hasten to add 'not literally' (even though he's not very tall :D).

I don’t know what all the fuss is about

Buy an RV and you get “Chassis lights’ as standard (on the decent ones)

On ours, remote controlled LED lights attached to the chassis, pointing out and down towards the underside of the camper

Looks great when sat outside, under the awning, the beer cooler is slid out, the outside 70” TV is showing a great film, and the built in waterproof surround sound is doing its job

People walk by and mutter ‘chav’ and wander back to their Romahome and tell their dowdy wives to blow out the 2nd candle as it’s “too extravagant”

I bet that isn’t the only thing people mutter as they walk by

Oh I don’t doubt it. Never taken much notice of mutterers, a bit like Onanists

They don’t count
