Light up the darkness

My recommendation is to fit LED daylight driving lights which is easy to do on the Ducato as the holes have already been included in the moulding and you just have to remove the blanking plates, I have wired mine up so they are always on when the headlights are switched on.

I have found that they make a really good Improvment particularly in poor visibility conditions

Alot of it will depend on the reflector , no matter how good the bulb is , if the reflecor is shit so will the beam spread and pattern.

I don't see why the mot would be a problem. As long as the light pattern is correct, there's no reason to look at the bulbs. The examiners aren't allowed to strip things down to inspect them.
Retrofit LED's & HID's were made an MOT fail from January 2021, but most of us get away with it, especially if like mine you have projector lamps with LED DLR's & Indicators in the same headlamp unit.
Errm, except me! As I explained in Drew’s thread, the MoT technician invited me into the bay to see why the Katurs resulted in an MoT failure for our MH. The light pattern was all over the place.

Nightbreakers were our saviour.
Strange that, the light pattern with LED's was better in mine.

Did they make much of a difference in real driving for you as my 2021 fiat based Burstner is still using the candles of a birthday cake it would seem and I would like a change but not to led.
Thanks

They are a decent improvement over the standard bulbs, but don't expect them to bathe your road ahead in daylight.
We are normally parked up before it's dark and the headlights get the most use in rainy conditions and tunnels.

If it’s flood lights you want a kelsa light bar above the windscreen would illuminate the road. Might be a little bit over kill, haha
