Light fitting: How do I get to the inside? (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

We've got a few of these fittings in the storage areas of our van.

I would like to fit LED's but despite my best efforts (I must be developing a delicate touch) I can't get to the innards.

Can anyone assist

I had one of those... I destroyed it taking it off. I think the translucent bit is supposed to slide off??? But it's bloody tight even when it's dismounted.
