LHD and mot's

Had my MOT in July. I have a personally imported N+B Flair, new in 2015. It is LHD with headlights set to dip to UK and this was checked on import in 2015. The van passed MOT in July with no advisories. Is that what you want to hear??
You have Hella projector lamps which are adjustable for flat dipping.
Standard Fiat lamp units are not adjustable.

Our LHD Carthago has the Hella projector lamps and they have never been adjusted to my knowledge.
I did drive up to the closed garage doors and put the lights on to see if there was a 'kick up' to either side but couldn't really tell if there was one or not.
I was a bit nervous when she went for her first MOT early this year but all was well. We also have a KPH speedo which was OK.

Richard.

If anyone is considering or needs to swop between LHD & RHD headlights then please note that if you have the more expensive type with integral LED running lights fitted then that's the type you need to replace them (not the standard ones) with otherwise you will get ECU errors on the dashboard display even if they are genuine branded headlights - been there & had the errors!
We were quoted up to £2000  for a pair of the LED version but as mentioned before got genuine Fiat ones here https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/foru...e-for-fiat-citroen-peugeot-parts-more.183754/ for £694 after Funster discount :)
