Looking at the Green Zones app, it doesn't show any zones in Italy, other than this app it seems almost impossible to get a clear map of Italy regarding LEZs.

Can anybody throw some light on the subject please?

I don’t think there are any. We were there 18 months ago and a few times signs would pop up on Garmin but in fact in real life they weren’t there. I took a wrong turn and ended up in the middle of Florence which wasn’t a great idea even in a PVC and it was fine.

ANPR and automatic issuing of fines puts a stop to disregarding the law.

Don't know if they've started doing the same as in London where people stop and remove their number plates because the fine for not having a plate is much less than not paying ULEZ and the chances of seeing a policeman, let alone being stopped by one are so low that it's a cheaper option....

That or the piece of black electrical tape to 'change' a letter or number on the plate to fool ANPR....

I used this site last year - the zones are everywhere but not very big

Went into a carpark in Cornwall with ANPR issuing tickets and the camera read the logo on the front instead of the number plate and issued a ticket with H4MER as the reg. Didn't notice until my proper reg was rejected a couple of times by the pay machine.

ANPR should have fun with my plate because it includes the depiction of a 1920s car,to denotr 'Vintage'
