How important is it to level the van when parking up? I have so far used my chocks twice when the spirit level (my phone) indicated being out by 2 and 3 degrees front to rear, but when it is only 1 degree is it worth the effort? Plus how do you do left to right as opposed to front to rear?

I noticed on our van that when even when on a " level" H.S. pitch there was natural forward bias of about 50mm difference in back end to front in the vehicles design. A couple of short 4 x twice bits of timber cut at 45deg one end were perfect for ultra level, without having to breakout the Milenco's. Also handy for mid support on the scooter loading ramp, and as a choc behind the scooter back wheel when loaded.

Just added the phone app as well. I had a little multi tool in the kitchen draw, it's a small screwdriver set, torch, and level all combined, so still useful.

Not packed our levels this time, find most sites level enough. If in the description it’s a sloping site I’d take our blocks.
