Heading for Cabopino on Sunday.
One of the most important provisions is travel sweeties 💖
Our recent discovery is that Lakeland sell a delightful selection. Anyone else found these 🤔

Mint humbugs for me and any fruit boiled sweet for him.

We have one of the round tins of sweet’s bought from Lidl in the glove box. They need the tin bashing before opening because they have become one big sweet.
Personally I prefer the mixed mints from Sainsbury’s but management has banned them because the toffee like ones are filling pullers.

I can’t remember what sweet it was but it was a nice sugar free one that we took a liking to. Unfortunately it was a while before we realised the sorbitol was upsetting Nick’s guts rather more than mine shall we say. Fortunately it was a blue job but we did change our travel sweet selection.

Dental hygiene is of course vital.

Fishermen’s friends for me.
Before this latest cold I would not have considered them, thought they tasted awful, then wife bought the honey and lemon and am currently on cherry, blackcurrant and the H and L. Really helping with the cough and can easily see us having them for holiday as we have run out of the pure honey sweets purchased a few years ago from a honey farm which are delicious.

Problem is i’m a cruncher so they last seconds
Me too. I get told off too. Tried to mask it or stop it . But can't do it.
We also have a competition to see who can suck a hard sweet through to nothing.
A moments drop in concentration and crunch. Lost again. :(

I had to smile because you’ve described exactly what happens here 🤣👍

To all those who reckon haribo are easy to eat try doing them with my teeth they last for hours
When we were kids a guy a the youth club had false teeth we used to feed him Toffo’s, it was hilarious to a 12 year old 😹 took him about 10 mins sucking it to death

Used to love Edinburgh Rock. That would make a good travel sweetie.
My late sister didn't have a sweet tooth, but these were her favourites, she didn't like the brown ones though. I loved stra'ven toffee but think they have shut down, am also a fan of American hard gums, the grandkids love them too.
We don't tend to eat sweets on journeys, i do when on my own. At some point though we buy a snicker and a mars bar, for pudding.

Mentoes.
Fed by Vasco, always exciting to guess the mint/fruit flavour!
About as much excitement as I can manage nowadays...
+1. But fed by Mrs. B. There's so many different types & flavours, from fruit to mint to toffee types,we've usually got at least 3 or 4 rolls on the go at any time.
Also a bag of gummy style sweets but the most "sharp" citric mouth watering ones we can find.
Then, for final variety, we usually hoover up a fistful of the assorted "caramelos" (aka small boiled sweets /chocolates) out if the dish at site reception / the bank / anywhere that has them.
