Not a according to CC, also a hell of a long walk to El Rocio
Location, location, location! The campsite is ideally placed for visiting el Rocio (y).
Hope the lagoon is not too low and the flamingos are there.
We find el Rocio an interesting place to stay for a couple of nights.:giggle:

Used to be the case but no longer tolerated in a lot of areas.
I did say what was going to happen but you said you can still find all free spots.
Not knocking you but we found the same in France, the free stays are long gone, the next stage will be these ccp things will keep going up till they are as dear as campsites and that will be that.

Not in France you won't.
I always find free places Charlie including France. I haven't paid for overnight parking ever bar a few nights in morroco and once on Thursday visiting friends.

There's always somewhere.

Maybe a bit of grass somewhere but not a place with emptying and filling.

Loads of free aires Charlie. I nearly always use aires in France for water and waste. And I've capacity to only need that every 10 days or so . And I'm never in France that long 🀣

A few hours is long enough to look around el rocio then a nice park up outside where it's quiet .
Might suit you but a lot of us like to wander back to the van relax with a beer or two, then a G&T before dinner and wine with the meal.
Don't want to be worrying about getting moved on for the sake of a few Euro.

I'm afraid we were the same on this last aborted trip, despite what I think of these ccp things we must have used 50% of them on our stops , although they are going to be the end of free Aires as we knew them , for what time we have left( and might have already finished) we might as well use them while they are relatively cheap if you use the hookup.

Still prefer free stops but it's a case of where we want to be so we have to accept what's on offer.
Done a lot of driving on this trip so need a bit of relaxing I think it will be over 3000 miles by the time we get home.

At least I have more stamina than these youngsters that just do a few hundred miles to Germany. 🀣

Done a lot of plugging in on this trip so need a bit of relaxing I think it will be over 3000 miles to try and charge the batteries by the time we get home.

Sadly I have no more stamina than these youngsters so I just travel a few miles each day, not like them that just do a few hundred miles to Germany usually in one day😁🀭🀭
There you go dad, I’ve fact checked it for ya🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣

Only if folk use them Charlie.

It's the Same as self service checkouts , if you use them they will become the norm and increase in numbers.

If you continue to use free aires and free park ups and no one uses the paid ones they'll revert back to free. Personally in France where you can pretty much park anywhere I'd park in the street outside the paid aire lol.

I think France is easier than Spain now, Spain you will get moved on or fined, in France just told not to do it again.
