Happy Anniversary Good excuse to do something exciting.

Cycled over to El Palmar a strange village by the side of the lake, a small canal either side of the village centre huge carparks at each end of the village and dozens of restaurants. Just read up about it, 800 inhabitants and over 30 restaurants @JonP would be in heaven.

This morning stopped off at the nature reserve, then headed for the Camper Stop near Oliva, not very inspiring in the middle of an industrial area with the smell of paint spraying in the air & they were full, headed back down towards the coast.
Now at the Camper Stop at Platja de Daimús in the overspill parking down the centre of the pitches. Needed a camper stop, needed to do some washing, nice stop & the town has a lovely seafront.
At last its warm, still outside in shorts after 9pm hooray.

Been at Calpe since Wednesday, love being a FLT but parking in the road is a step too far so we are on the posh Camper stop, Sol de Calpe Austral, there are two we are on the one right by the town, stilll :cry::cry::cry::cry: over the price €27/night they are fully serviced pitches but €27:eek::eek::eek:. And those rotters over on the Calpe thread keep rubbing it in.

A bit prim and proper.

€32 for large pitch or double small, stung for short stay & Easter rates only site with space. Only wild camping around here is in the roads roads, not keen on that.
Long live FLT's

But it's quite a nice site, how is the building going on opposite the entrance? We left early in the Autumn as they had started pile driving, plus a load of dust from lorry's in and out. You could see a sheen over the pool and feel every thump through the ground.

Doing the brick infill now hardly any noise or mess, apparently they start at 8 never woken up that early since we have been here so wouldn't know. Now stopped for Easter.

Great, thanks, probably pop on there this Autumn. I think it's a good position, clean and tidy and apart from said building works peaceful.

Of course we have, we run up there most mornings before breakfast ..............
