LED H7 headlight bulbs upgrade - impressed (so far)

Just checked as I have ordered a set of Katur bulbs and I'm relieved to say, the ones you recommend are the ones I have. I haven't fitted them yet as the van is in storage and the weather is poor. I also want to clean the projectors too. I think they need it and are part of the problem.

I just realised that I haven’t been practicing what I preach! I haven’t told you how my mods turned out, so, I have installed H7’s in the main beams on our Ducato 2012 and H17’s in the dip beams. The main beams are AMAZING!, subjectively 100% more illumination. The dip beams are about 50% better than originals but beam pattern isn’t quite as defined. On balance I think they are definitely a worthwhile improvement on the OE specification in terms of £/useful light.

I had a good look at the dipped beams yesterday, the outer headlight covers are going a bit yellow and “milky” so I’m going to give them a polish to see if that makes a difference. Experience of my daughter’s ancient Toyota Corolla says it should do. I’ll report back soon!
