any of you more travelled folks found a decent sosta in lecce (I have looked on line ) as swmbo wants to go

We looked at visiting Lecce last year but we were the wrong time of year (summer time) and it was very busy for parking. We looked at parking here for the day, to look round the town and then move somewhere else overnight but we were too late getting there and it was heaving, so no chance of getting parked.

The other place we had earmarked and was a possible overnight stop too, was here but again no good for us last year.

I hope you find something.

Find somewhere on the rail line with a station. Fares were reasonable and finding a stopover in a smaller less visited place proved a good option.
