Learn to crochet?

Asking for help, again, can't believe how difficult it is to find a double knit, basic round/crew neck jumper pattern with set in, not dropped shoulder sleeves. I do have 2 from the 80s but you could go camping in the sleeves. Does anyone have one they could let me have either posting will pay fo pattern and postage, or sending one as a pdf for me to print out.
Have spent ages looking on the knitting sites and am partly through checking the thousands on ebay.
Not finished john's green aran but like to have my next project sorted.
Thanks in advance.
I don’t knit, so can’t help with a pattern but have you also looked on Etsy or Ravelry? I have purchased crochet patterns from both and had no issues.

davanne Would be perfect if it had set in sleeves, have quite a few raglans, but for the adaptatoons i am hoping to make need on with set in, not drop shoulder sleeves, Have very narrow shoulders and mostly do raglan, but need set in for what i want to do.
Lisa have looked at Etsy ravelry, allfree knitting and several others head is spinning hence the request on here.
still gives me something to do while john is watching sport.

Those sites can be very time consuming 😁 I sometimes go searching for something and get so side tracked that I end up with something completely different……

I wonder how long it will last though!!! I did reinforce as much as I could.

The next card will be Martin's and it is part done and then our son's - planned and mock up made!!!

Hi Lisa I bet it took almost as long to sew him/her and stuff it as it did to make it. Got a name so I know whether to say he/she is gorgeous.(y)
Thanks, she's called Spotty Dottie. I did all the sewing together in one sitting, which was about 2 hrs ish? (difficult to say sometimes, as I tend to be watching telly at the same time and can get distracted).
I tend to want to finish it when I start assembling as it's nice to see it all coming together. I do like amigurumi....

I'm really enjoying the paper engineering and the look on faces when people open what they think is a normal flat card!!!!

Oli has a thing about dragons so I hope he likes Draco emerging from the card!!!

The next card is for Martin, a planosphere ( hope I got that correct - it's a map of the night sky set to this latitude) and inside a fold out of the planets.

All I can say Helen is Wow - and I don't say that often.

I am making a few bits for Diss Carnival. The theme this year is something to do with Hollywood and movies. Someone suggested sparkly things so I've made six spectacle cases and today, while the snooker is on, I'll be stuffing and sewing up bean bag frogs. Frogs and Hollywood???? Frog Prince : Princess and the Frog. I'll see if I can put a photo on here once they're finished.

Hi everyone, lots of busy bees crafting lovely things on this thread :inlove:

I’ve just completed this quilt top for little Lucas. I still need to quilt it. Normally I’d free motion the whole thing but I think I’m going to have a bash at some ruler work which I haven’t tried before. I’m going to live dangerously and mix it up :ROFLMAO:

Set off from uk with back and front and both sleeve cuffs done for Johns jumper, one sleeve finished, thank you rain, and discovering I can knit while John is driving, managed to loose one of my needles, forgot it had gone on the floor of the van into the door footwell, only remembered many miles further on from our lunch stop. So glad i had brought another set with me. Photos later if I manage to finish it while away.
Helen the cards are beautiful and Lisa love spotty dottie, so many talented funsters.

Chrysalis Alice - What a lovely fun quilt. Lucky Lucas.

I have to say "Snap". I have made nine patchwork blocks for a Linus quilt and I am thinking 12.5 blocks would be the perfect opportunity to try ruler quilting instead of 'quilt in the ditch'. I spent a fortune on Westerlee Rulers over a year ago and haven't used them. Let us know how you get on.

I'm guessing it's a full size quilt. Am I right in thinking you have a Long Arm Quilter or are you planning to do the quilting on your new machine?

I was going to start on a card for a very good friend today but the physio was here this morning and I am VERY sore but making excellent progress (!). If it continues I might not need surgery 🤞I've been referred to someone who may be able to make a shoe insert to "tip" my foot and ankle into a more normal position again 🤞The physio said she could feel where the ankle had fractured and that it wasn't correctly healed so very thick and now the fibula (?) is about 2 cm longer than it should be so pushing everything else out of alignment.

I sent the card I forgot to photo and have since heard Lizzie is now receiving end of life care. So very upsetting as she is only 54 and has teenage children. She'd been seeing her GP almost weekly for well over a year as she was "not well" found a few lumps and had terrific weight loss - he fobbed her off until February when he sent her for a mammogram "just for reassurance" as she was "too young" for breast cancer. I am breaking up inside as it is the same story Martin's Mum had. My confidence in the NHS at rock bottom.

A heart hug isn't enough Helen. There are no words to console you - we expect to survive cancer these days. That doctor wants stringing up.
And no doubt they will blame covid.

I think a claim for medical negligence will ensue from the family. Lizzie isn't the only one to have been let down by that GP so if they can get him/her more training or early retirement then ..... Sheer ignorance not to take cancer symptoms seriously.

Card for my friend finished. She and my Dad shared a birthday. The last image is a side view which shows the underlying engineering.

I messed up a bit as the outer is in portrait orientation and the inside is landscape.

Edit: My friend is a very keen gardener!!!
