movan here you go, 5 needles but you only knit with 2. My boss has been clearing out her stash, I'm now knitting up these socks to hand back to her. I know, nothing useful like what most of you are doing.
Janine , I love seeing yarn bombing. This winter there was a village near Barnstaple with crochet/knit Christmas trees, totally amazing.
Oh yes, I finished some crochet edging. Jane is very excited about these as she's into 40's things and hopes to put them onto some of her blouses.

scotzsue Do Hull Royal hospital still need tiny baby hats? I have a dozen if you will tell me where to send them. I hope to pack them in an A4 envelope so it will fit in a postbox as a large letter. I think we must be using the same pattern. 48 sts. cast on.

I'm going to get / find my book of Japanese knitting designs, making baby hats would be a nice way to try out some of the fancy stitches :)

Not right now as I need to get my counterpanes finished and I'm doing the first rounds of bobbles.

Latest project finished for Katie at work who's expecting next month.
Robs auntie knitted mini cardies for my girlies when they were new borns and they had raglin sleeves , I found them so easy to get on as I was nervous of their thin little arms!! I’d never held a baby before my own!

That's a lovely pattern Helen scousebird. Did you ever get blue buttons from me? I found a string of them down the settee so wondered if they were missed out of the package. If you ever need tiny blue buttons again, let me know

Ven He is soooo gorgeous - those eyes, they just make it don't they. The people who make these original creatures are so talented and then able to produce patterns for the rest of us to try. Wonderful

Thank you, the original in the book had fancy hand painted eyes which I couldn’t find so these were my interpretation. I love this book, everyone will have a character by the time I’ve finished ?
