Baby pram blanket.

scousebird That's lovely Helen - did you use double knit or 4 ply?

Also loving the fox, unicorn, tiny mice, scarf that became a snuggly thing and that gorgeous snowman and, well everything. ?

We've been away for almost a week with no internet and it feels like a lifetime. I got plenty of time for knitting so have almost finished the three baby cardigans I am making for Katy. The lemon one with the faulty pattern turned out to be a bad pattern. It has a collar and whether I oversew or backstitch the collar sticks up. I may have another go but with all these other tempting animals to have a go at I don't want to waste any more time on it.

I am watching the Craft programme on TV with great interest, especially if I can pick up a pricing structure. £2,000 plus for a quilt!!!!! and I must watch it again to see the charges for the crochet kit. I give away materials like this every Monday for the Big C craft group. What I'm getting from this programme so far is the need to specialise in one or two items if you want to sell at craft fairs.

Anyway, must leave you now. Got to find out what's been going on with the Morning Funsters thread. Byeeee

It's Channel 5 at 8pm.THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF CRAFTING.

Last week was quilting, Fimo, crochet, etc etc.... Think it's different crafts each week but it's presented in a quite interesting way.. It isn't like Kirsty Allsop's programme.

It's people wanting to make money fromtheir hobbies.

It wasn't even a nice quilt - I thought really boring and the type of thing that can be strip pieced in a day if you know the quick piece techniques and can make sure you are able to nest seams. once done never forgotten!! Then he had his machine that pantographs over the whole thing rather than custom quilts - one of my pet hates as I think it is lazy ...... just the way I was taught to quilt I expect. I would have thought he could have had a better champion than Kaffe Fassett (who doesn't make his own quilts - he designs others make but that is another story). Time with someone like Pauline Burbidge or Helen Cowans would have opened his eyes much more - but then Kaffe being male was probably seen as more contemporary !

Eye Candy:
