Globcar Summit 640
I have a 3 year old Globecar Summit. Soon after ai purchased it as a 2 year old vehicle the shower started dripping as soon as I opened any tap and engaged the pump. Long story but the dealer messed me around until the warranty ran out even lying that they had ordered the spare part! I managed it at first as only a small drip but recently the water started dripping from the body of the tap. I tried to dismantle the tap to get at the back of the body but snapped the wires to the Microswitch in doing so - a Reich 130. The body of the tap is in two parts and I cannot see how to get out the back part and therefore how I replace the microswitch? Do I have to dismantle the shower and will the wire be fitted to the pump mechanism? Happy to have a go myself unless someone can recommend a good mechanic for the job? I live in South Leicestershire

Hi, I have an Adria Twin so this may not help but in the twin the shower tap is on the dividing wall between the shower area and the dinette. Behind the dinette seat there is a hatch you can open to get access to the rear of the tap. Good luck!

Thanks. Sadly this tap is fixed to the panel against the side of the van but thanks anyway

Just buy a new tap, I doubt you can get the parts to repair the leak.
