The Le Voyager
Could be winning. It had loads of extras the other van didn't. This one also didn't have a hab check. Broker said it didn't really need one because of the way it was made? But added if we want one he will sort it. We want one. Down side it only had a small pay load but rung a firm mentioned one hear and they said it could be increased. Going to a dealer in Perth tomorrow. But have a feeling we may put a cheeky offer in on the Voyager. Wife (Les) likes the seats.

We hired a car (was really surprised how cheap it was on line), then drove up to collect. Drop off rental car at local depot to collection point, and then stopped a night on the way home at a pub, so no cooking kit required. Was a real fun experience.

Any old van you have to err on side of caution - many have let heart rule their head and it has cost them dearly - at least with a broker you will get some sort of warranty - if i was aware of an expensive up-coming problem i'd certainly try and get rid of van to a dealer or use a broker - concience would not let me sell to a private individual - lots of people will do what i have just said if they have a problem with a vehicle - then you just plead ignorance with whatever problems it may have - lot of people wont like this but it happens more than one would like - with trader/brokers they are only really interested in taking cash off people anyway

Don't forget, the lower the price the less commission the broker gets.
When I purchase a motorhome through Motorhome Depot 5 years ago the broker would not budge on the price. However in my view it was a fair price and we were the first to see it. Traded it 3 years later for a £1 more than I paid for it, so price must have been ok.

First offer turned down. It was a bit cheeky. Second offer in. We want this van.
It's a nice Motorhome and has some of the add ons we want. If it was down to me and Head of Finance (wife) had been out the room I would have gone full asking price

You can pay for like a add on warranty there wed site says
Was going to say that.... when I bought mine the warranty from Hayes Leisure (as a part of the price) was an insurance based one. Never needed it though

Surely the vehicle will be full of his personal belongings? I think you're expecting too much of the seller. Why can't you pick it up?

It was a bit of a joke. But if he made a special trip after emptying his belongings. That would be fine. Also where we live is a sort of campervan place got one in the carpark tonight
