lose two years if I'm American and gain two if I'm south Korean i want to be known as ho flung dung from now on
I didn't try a change of nationality. I suppose as long as you swap before you're times up on the first one the jobs a good un. I bet Japanese is a good bet.

2 days before 50th wedding anniversary.

That LL save some money

17th may 2040

...Current Life Members can get 60% off
60% off my life...... well given my age now if I don't take the offer I may become the world's oldest woman. Or does Jim mean I can go back 60% of my years? That would be worth doing if I could retain my knowledge!

That death clock is ridiculously optimistic! 93 years, highly unlikely with my FH. If I believed it then I really should have got life membership last year instead of 10years but it seemed like tempting fate:giggle:

Back to the op have we any new “lifers“ yet?

Apparently I’ve 13,882 days, 18hrs, 55mins and 8 seconds remaining, i plan on getting my moneys worth😉

That death clock is ridiculously optimistic! 93 years,

Out of interest what would you say would be a good age to get to for both a woman and a man.

A reasonably healthy type person.

I think pension wise they tend to look at 95 years.

I think they are are using pre pandemic figures.
For the U.K. it’s about 79 for men and 83 for women. If you reach 65 the figures are a bit different , 18.5 years for men and 21 for women.
There are regional variations, that North South divide.

They definitely don’t use 95.

Thanks.

I was talking to a F A and I’m sure 95 years was mentioned.

I maybe wrong though 😊

They would most likely have mentioned a number of different ages, each with their own percentile (e.g. for a given starting age (usually your age😎) 5% live to 95, 10% live to 83, 25% live to 75, etc).

It all helps you decide how comfortable you are with the projected life of your current pension fund. 👍

Thanks

I need to seriously look into what I’m going to do work wise next year.
So much to do with so little time to do it in 🙄😊

Unless the lotto comes in of course 😊

Yes, don’t know how long that will be for.
my wife is from Yorkshire and so was my grandfather, so I hope I get my money’s worth.
That’s why I bought mine early on whilst relatively young (well young for on here anyway😃) and whilst they were cheaper👍 (Also Yorkshire born and bred)👍

Don't rub it in. I swapped an urn for a life membership. When making the deal you told me you were on your last legs.
That was 15 years ago, and it looks like you'll outlive me. You sir, are a con artist. :xangry: :xangry: :xrofl:

I think you thought he'd be in another sort of urn by now!
