Lac d Orient

My mate stopped in there. Arrived late and parked behind a small car he thought was a tow vehicle. Got woke up at 5am by a lady of the night wanting to get off home as he had blocked her in

Will be there tomorrow night, but heading south  Is the tap working? Been a bit hit and miss apparently?

We tend to stay in the campsite, for two nights, half a klick further up the road as the last stop on our way home. However, it has become more expensive over the last few years. But they have a pool for our boys, a reasonable shop and the bar has some surprisingly good wine and mixes a mean Mojito.

But is it worth seventy one euros a night, for the four of us? Probably not.

Just a few miles away is a lovely spot at Lusigny Sur Barse where you can park ,free, alongside the river near the bridge. No facilities except rubbish but overlooks the weir and its a great place to watch the river. Short walk up to the village bakery. usually a few other vans there-there were 6 total last week when we parked. You can walk along the river to Lac D'Orient .
