What's the food like in Germany?

Only eaten out once so far, I ordered schnitzel and sue ordered salmon. My schnitzel was delicious but was commanderred when her salmon turned up smoked
I enjoyed the salmon as well (y)
Overall I'm liking germany very much, maybe more than France

We once thought France was the bees knees but we the started venturing further afield and Germany is far nicer, the stellplatz are so safe and the country is very very clean ( cant vouch for big cities) werew currently doing the B500 bottom to top through the black forest..... Fantastic

We never found haute cuisine, not that we look for it anyway, but German food tends to be wholesome and tasty with a lot of emphasis on meat.

Is B500 a good road to use to see places ?
I`ll be doing north to south next week, any recommendations gratefully received, it`s our first time in Germany

This has been our route reversed all stellplatz. Baden Baden cc no.3072, sasbachwalden cc no. 328, bad Peterstal cc no. 57234. Schluchsee cc no.22842 and waldshut- tiengen cc no. 15783
All are good stellplatz with good walks
Hope this helps

Hi guys, please excuse my ignorance. But what or where does a camper contact No refer to?
We will be looking for somewhere to stay for a night or two late June in Koblenz.

It's the site number on the camper contact app which alot of us use. The app is an invaluable aide if you plan to use Aires/stellplatz instead of campsides, if you haven't got it just go on the app/play site and download it I think the current cost is £4.99. Its a Dutch app and once you start using it you will throw away all your books there is load of comments of the individual places
