Our family went to Tenerife with another family.
We both hired cars and went from the South to the North of the island in our respective cars.
On the way back, it was dark and I was somewhat alarmed to see the drivers door of mates car open as we hurtled down the motorway.
The door then shut only for the exercise to be repeated two or three times.
When we arrived back 'home' I asked Brian, (RIP,) what was the reason for the door opening.
"Couldn't find the inside light switch"
He'd never driven a Vauxhall/Opel.
