Has anybody got a good idea what to do when the keys have been locked in the garage. That is all the keys, to start engine to operate the doors etc. Know it is my fault, am stuck in Salamance in Spain, and tomorrow Monday will try to contact whoever is available. Staying at Hotel Regio camp site, and reception has a handy man, who will come in tomorrow, also they gave me an address for a Hymer dealer. Can anybody lighten my soul please.

Thought I’d lost my keys, found them in the gas locker. Lesson learnt . Bought an additional set, now in magnetic key case hidden on chassis.

last year the same happened to us in France. Couldn’t believe it.
Returned from beach and threw everything in the garage including the keys. I have the habit of unlocking the barrel, opening the door and then locking the barrel again so that I can take the keys out. Just need to push the handle and it’s locked. Did this but had put the keys in the garage with all of the beach gear.
Luckily I had a rough idea where I must have put the keys. I had fortunately opened the hab door already.
It took us 3hrs to blindly fish around with a metal coat hanger through the bottom drawer under the fixed bed blindly searching for the keys but the wife finally managed to hook them. What a relief.

Good luck

Not that we have a "garage" as such on our Ace Siena but that's why we have two sets of keys. Not much help in your current situation I know, but something to consider for the future . . . .

Martin did that when helping someone else out. Luckily I had the spare set with me.

Martin searched high and low for the main set of keys never thinking he had locked them in the gas locker ..... I found them when checking the gas level. He still activates the lock after opening the locker which always makes me anxious...... I always activate the locking mechanism just before securing the door after I have either taken things out or put things back in the locker.

I think you’ll need a locksmith. The habitation locks are fairly easy to replace so I’d have thought you’ll need Hymer.
