As Frank Carson would have said “That’s a cracker”.!

Does the driver have a weak bladder perhaps?

Now *that* is fugly. And totally impractical.

Why, just why? I sort of get them on the back of pickups, though I wouldn't have one.

Wasn’t there something by a firm called Starcross or StarCraft ( I think), but it also came with an extra set of wheels in tandem with cars rear wheels. Circa 1960/70. Granddad told me

There was/is also Le clipcar, but with a slightly different sort of 'articulated' set up with the fifh wheel on a roof rack...

10/10 for ingenuity.
0/10 for looks, practicality, road stability, front/rear weight distribution, colour coordination, looks, rear shock wear, parking on zebra crossing zigzags and looks.

Did I mention looks? Fugliest bolt-on since this one.

Yes indeed.. Cortina chopped in two..
Rear scrapped as well as front of cab. Cab unit bolted to a custom ladder chassis and Starcraft body mounted on top and Starcraft panels fitted to front. All cortina running gear used. Trailer indespension units for extra wheels.
solaris bit out with date.... early 80s.

Only a decade out, not too bad. At the time thought they were quite interesting, now that is bad
