Just purchased this vehicle. Does this look normal as it looks bad to us?

My panel will not work and I have been told the electrics are messed up.

Image 1 badly fitted conduit
Image 2,3,4 the roof?
There are no images of "electrics" or a "panel" unless they are solar on the roof but usually black.

Make, Model?
Adria Sunliving list 4 Series/models.

For someone to give feedback you need to provide specific details of issue and what you are to illustrate with the images.
The more detailed information you can provide the more likely you are to get an informed responce rather and questions.
Who told you electric were messed up?

That said it's 2 days old take it back to the dealer would be my 1st port of call.

Photos need to be taken further away .not close ups.
I would return to the dealer immediately and ask them to show how it all works and point out the gap on the conduit which is assumed to be from a solar panel to where it goes through the roof to the controller. Shoddy workmanship..
Did you not have a hand over demo when you collected your van.

Return to dealer, it's not for you to sort out.
If they fitted the conduit for whatever reason they need to be looking at their workshop staff.
I could do better in the dark with a blindfold.
But if you're having to ask I doubt you will return to dealer.
Does the conduit need to be sealed off it is only to stop the wire’s flapping about? More important that the cable is sealed where it goes into the van,

I’d be a tad more worried about where the cable in the conduit is entering the cover and the possible lack of seal at that point. AFAIK those curved covers have the gland seal at the other end where a cable entry is made. The cover itself should be bonded/sealed to the roof and the point of cable entry is therefore not compromised.

Rough job. I’ve seen lots of motorhomes where trunking had been used on the roof. Not good practice as it’s for internal use

I think the conduit fitted by the dealer on our roof lasted about 500 miles.
I replaced it with cable clips. They have lasted 10,000 miles so far.

What would you run the cables in on the roof if not trunking like this?

Hard to tell from the pictures sorry.

But I would have serious concerns about where the cable comes out of the trunking and goes into the van. It should have a proper box or encapsulation rather than what looks like just a bunch of sika.

Something like this

Or this

Not just a hole in the roof with the cable going through and lots of Sika.

Take it back.

That first picture, the curved bit I thought was a part of the van not a cable entry box? Or is this a type I have not seen before? Hard to tell from the pictures.

W255H on a UK type van indicates the master switch is off -> done it many times on my van. The panel for a truma turns on withotu the master switch being on counter-intuitively.

Switch your master on, then select and clear the error.

That or the fuse to your main truma boiler has gone.

On the front doors windows, there is a two digits number followed by a number of dots. Can you tell me what these are?

I would you plastic conduit as it’s totally sealed
The conduit is used to stop the cable from flapping about on the roof and to have a better cosmetic look, so doesn't need to be water tight.

The gland looks like this type as far as I can tell from the pic same as on our Frankia.
