I have had a practise on a local trading estate going around mini roundabouts and reversing etc.... Then drove part way there and back to lake vernwy which is 60 miles from us.
Tomorrow off for our first overnight stay for 5 days at Rowan Park site in Bognor Regis just over 200miles of which I will do the easy motorway bits then the biggy France in September.
My hubbie can handle large vehicles easily as he was a fireman for 30 years which also helped greatly when teaching me, he still goes on about the old crash gear boxes they used to have to use!
All I can say to all you lady co-pilots is have a go, otherwise the longer you delay it becomes a fear. I'll be honest when Malc said I was going to be driving the MH I did not want to do it but now I get on with it but still squeeze my shoulders in when the gaps get tight.
