Hi Everyone

Me and my Mrs have just bought our first Motorhome aged 41, we would never of bought one due to layout being nowhere near as good as caravan layouts. However, we walked into a Burstner Lyseo 745 and the space inside for day time and evening time ticked all of the boxes. It is actually more spacious than a caravan layout.

This question has probably been asked a million times, however, when you search on google, the answers never come up.

Is there a website, app or group that lays out travelling to Europe? (We was just going to jump in, however there is no point in reinventing the wheel)

Thanks in advance

Wayne

Welcome!
You will find the vast majority of the information you need right here on this forum. Use the search facility and put in a keyword of what you are looking for. If by some chance nothing comes up, post your question. It will not be long before you get your answer.
Safe and happy travels.

Edit - As post #2. Join up. It will be the best £20 you will spend on motohoming.

Hi Wayne and Emma, welcome to the fun. (y)

There are lots of information portals online that will sell you an e-book for £12.99 about travelling to Europe, much of it is an overpriced opinion of just one person. The difference here is that if you ask a question, you'll get relevant answers from a number people actually doing what you propose.

A question asked here such as "Where should we go on our first trip to France" Or Whats the best way to cross the Channel? What documents do I need for Spain? What's the best home insurance for spending longer than 30 days away from home? Would get you more answers than any book on the subject, you'll likely get photos videos and anecdotes thrown in too.

You are in the best place to discover all you need to know. Just ask away

If only for travel information...the £15 or so it will cost to join will be more than recouped by joining...then there's masses of information of 'how to...' for pretty much anything motorhome related you can think of. One 'simple' question asked and answered could save you a traipse to the dealer etc....oh and welcome.

Welcome.. I think you have already found the resource you need..
Wealth of information on here, direct from the horses mouth.
There are usually some member already travelling in Europe and so have latest details you might need.

One suggestion i will make is try to ask just one or two specific questions at a time.. Some "newbies" post about 10 questions and all the answers can get mixed up and hard to track. Also if you subscibe i think you have access to the search facility and many question have been asked and answered in the past..

:HelloThere: And:WelcomeFlag:

We’ve done foreign trips by asking Funsters for recommendations on places to visit, Aires to stay on etc. It’s definitely the way to do it. Someone has done the groundwork and planning for you!

You’ll probably meet Funsters while you’re abroad and you can compare notes over a beer!

Enjoy...
