Just booked this woolacombe bay

Hold on a bit...Thats the Golden coast not Woolacombe bay site. You had said it was Woolacombe bay originally. That is what set me on my way as we wanted to go there ourselves. However..The Golden Coast site IS open and does offer the prices that you have mentioned. Perhaps its a misunderstanding? I thought you were referring to the Woolacombe bay site itself? No worries

PS.....It is now not offering any dates for the 23rd! Bugger...

Stayed in Twitchen House - v good well run site and very cheap off season. Nice walks right from the site.

There are four sites in the group. Golden coast, twitchin house and easwell farm all take tourers, Woolacombe bay only have statics they used to have touring pitches but no more.

I looked at a week in late Feb and was quoted £8.25 per night inc EHU. Excellent!

BUT we "never" plan holidays so I didn't book it. Does anyone know if this is an "early booker" price or will I get the same if I turn up without any notice?

Hi we went to Woolacombe bay sands worst site I have ever been on showers crap we were pitched on top tier gravel road kids throwing stones people speeding up and down ,bar /club room terrible , Woolacombe is ok not a lot there a decent couple of bars the best bit is the beach but we were there in the summer and it was packed I would think Woolacombe would be closed for the winter.

there’s not much closed in the winter... if it’s a nice weekend you have a job to park along the esplanade unless you get there early. That’s because it’s free some motor homes park down there overnight.

C+MHC site at Woolacombe is ok. Bus outside down to the beach. Not sure if it’s an open all year site. You can take the MH down easily and park just outside the town and walk in.
