Just about to land in Calais :-) First time in the Motorhome!

The aire at Fecamp is not pretty, basically a rough parking area by the docks but the town is quite nice and there's a nice promenade along the beach. We had a nice meal in one of the seafront restaurants. The aire was free when we were there in September as the barrier was broken. Not been to Etratat.

Agree with Helen - scousebird about Fecamp but we often stay there just because it's a nice town and the promenade. Not much open when we stayed there just over a week ago. The barrier is still up so still Free at the moment - in fact don't think we've ever paid to stay there!

Anyone got any suggestions for somewhere Tuesday between Honfleur and Dieppe?
have a look here a trip i did with a fellow motorhomer 11 years ago but stopped in a couple of the places you are looking at.

Not on the coast but La Mailleraye sur Seine is a nice spot, right on the riverside where you can watch rivercruisers and ships pass by. Small supermarket in the town and a lovely restaurant just before the entrance to the aire.
And if you do go here cross the river on the ferry to Jumièges. Just a few km upstream its free, takes about 4 cars. And if you've time, and you're interested, the benedictine Abbey there is amazing.

Thanks all, really undecided now as realising that our planned stay the night before calais is only an hours drive. Almost thought about making a mad dash for mont st michel today then two longer stints home. But think we'll stick with original plan, looks like (after consulting with the boss) we'll drive to Etretat, see what its like maybe on to Fecamp if not sure or even onto saint valery en caux. Pretty sure it's going to be one of them tonight. But first Juno beach.

I've found Etretat a bit bleak and just a concrete seafront. St Valery is little better. Veulettes sur Mer, 15 miles East of Fecamp is a bit more lively/interesting and has an aire.
Fecamp is far more interesting. I stayed a couple of nights free on the quayside but there is/was also an aire adjacent to the harbour.

At Fecamp the m/h's are in front of the green and white buildings........

Parking at Fecamp isn't in front of the green and white buildings any more. It's on the other side of the road.

Found it :)
Yep you guessed it, we've gone for Fecamp. I went via Etretat but the aire was too far from the eateries in town for the wife to manage the walk, Fecamp looks more manageable and yes the barrier is still broken so a free night it seems. We only arrived 10 minutes ago and my plan was originally to likely go on to St Valery en Caux (liked the look of it from @rebbyvids link) if Fecamp didn't look suitable, but a) it's now 5pm and b) I've a banging headache.
So, Fecamp wins, time for a coffee, shower and wander into town for a beer or three and a meal (y) (y)
