Jump Starter Pack Information

On the Augusta there's a setting on the habitation control panel to recharge the vehicle battery from the leisures. I've only used it once, took about 10 minutes to bring the vehicle battery back from 8v to 12.5v then the starter worked!!!
That's interesting , however by parralleling them together they will both end up half full etc.

That Noco GB 70 seems rather expensive for what it is.

A while back I bought a Ravpower lithium powerbank / jump starter kit (suggestion by Grommett). No longer listed on Amazon. Can't remember the price but somewhere close to £70 from memory. 14,000 mAh and capable of 1000A peak current (claimed). Used it once in anger to start a neighbour's petrol car with a totally flat battery, which it did with ease. It claimed to be able to start V8 petrol engines and up to 3 litre diesel engines. Haven't needed to try it with the 2.3 Ducato. The leads look long enough to connect to the 2 points under the bonnet, as recommended by the Fiat handbook.

The key instruction was to connect the leads to the vehicle battery and wait 5 - 10 minutes before trying to start it.

Its main use for me is to charge smartphones and similar devices.

I like that Kickstarter. Com, open platform. Let’s see who improves on it.

I have seen people kicking their vehicles, but never seen it improve the starting:(

The NOCO GB70 is expensive and you can get other brands a lot cheaper which they say do the same thing.

The NOCO products are very good and well worth the money. They will last and won’t fail where others will.

You pays your money and takes your choice.

Me, I’d rather purchase something that won’t let me down when I need it the most.
