when you've finished with it JJ, a mate of mine has one and also the 8ft bladed hedge trimmer that has the same engine.
he needs an engine for the trimmer

cant believe you can still get parts for them.....his is 50 years old

All parts are still available,even tyres from ebay,there is also a huge owners club called Solex Angels based in Belgium.
These bikes are timeless and like old Mercs bombproof.
How many modern engines can you leave standing for 3 years with petrol in and start first time????

Dont worry JJ...I have not removed any of the antique patina that is so important on vintage machines.
Also it comes in JJ black.
