I’m currently driving an Iveco Daily 50-180 himatic.

When I’m driving, usually after I’ve been driving for at least 30 minutes, I hear 3 loud beeps in quick succession. There are no warning lights or any messages on the display. It only happens when the vehicle is moving.

It only ever happens a maximum of once on a journey. Sometimes it doesn’t happen on a journey.

There isn’t an instruction manual in the vehicle.

Any ideas please?

Sat Nav warnings?
Running low of washer fluid?
Cold weather warning?

All have puzzled me in different vehicles on occasion.

Sat nav - I’m using my own and it’s not one of the sounds it normally makes.
Washer fluid - full
Cold weather - it’s been between 17C and 27C!

It’s a mystery!

Our Carthargo has a habit of beeping but it is from the control panel I think it has something to do with water although we’re always full, the gas warning is also on there make sure you have that set correctly.

As far as I can tell, the beeps are coming from the cab dashboard area

The previous owner of my van had a tracker fitted. The cost to transfer it to me was basically the same as a new unit, the subscription was high and the app and website looked poor, so I got a different one fitted instead. But the old unit is still there, buried in the dash. And once every twenty or so trips, it beeps at me when it thinks I'm speeding... Which apparently is ~62mph. I don't know why it's so intermittent. And I'm concerned that if I dig into the dash to remove it without knowing the full extent of what it's connected to, I'm worried I'll cause gremlins. So I put up with it.

Speed cameras ?
I get beeps near speed cameras.
Mine goes mad at the A2/A102/A12 route, (Blackwall Tunnel) with 32 speed cameras over 7 miles

My Satnav also has a real thing about supermarket car parks, it wants me to go to the loading bays around the back.
The car parking for punters is a 'restricted area' and I should not be there!

Road junctions is another one to look at.
My SatNav often seems to think the 30mph restriction at a junction continues right across the main road they are joining, especially in Scotland.
