We use the oven in our MH for pizzas mostly but the other day we were in Lidl and they were selling off the pre-rolled empanada pastry for 47c so, not one to pass on a bargain I got some. 😁

I decided to make a ham, cheese and egg quiche - the only issue was getting the bottom fully cooked due to the limitations of the oven however as I had used my 24cm Tefal Ingenio frying pan as a flan tray I was able to whack it on the hob for a couple of minutes to sort that out.

We had half tonight with some chips and salad and will have the rest for tomorrow's tea. I have to say it was very yummy, much better than shop bought ones.

As a bonus as there was some pastry left over I made a large lemon curd tart for me and a jam one for hubby using the plum jam I'd made on a previous MH holiday. Sorry about the photo of the tarts ... I just had to check my tart was edible as we aren't having them until tomorrow's breakfast with some squirty cream (and no Janine that is not a euphemism!). 😄

Well, you could have at least invited me over to sample it…..
I'm thinking of making 'canard en croute' next time so of course I'll invite you over but before I make it as I'll need to ensure I have the main ingredient! >:)

Looks nice Minxy (y)
You remind me of my late mum, she used her "all in one" pastry mix for just about anything that needed pastry, savoury or sweet, I think the recipe is in our old very faded copy of The Be Ro cook book, no butter used only marg just after the war.
She wouldn't have known what a Quiche was, she would have called it Ham, Egg & Cheese pie, and always made jam tarts with her left over pastry, lemon curd or fruit jam.
Her residue pastry tarts would break your teeth they were that crisp, if I didnt eat them, they would be served up to me as a "Custard Surprise" pudding after my mince & tatties.:(
Have fun.

Home made quiches & pizzas are far nicer, assuming Mel makes the pizzas as well.😂
The 2nd to last pizza was half of a 'Just roll' kit, I only used the bread dough which was a pain to stretch to shape but managed it in the end. Fortunately at the car boot on Sunday I bought a small wooden rolling pin for 50c so the last one was much easier. Instead of the tomato etc sauce from the kit (which I'll use it for a spag bol) I used a Princes tuna sandwich filler with peppers etc in (only 2 years out of date! 😄) then put some cooked ham and cheese on top ... very yummy.

Not sure about the state of that old tart. 🤣
I'll have you know they were very yummy although, as we were up late, we didn't have the squirty cream. 😆

Did someone say Gorgon, because if they did I would say they are disrespectful as Minxy does not have wings.
Actually your correct I don't have wings but my Mum is a recognised master broomstick aviator, a skill which I have inherited. She passed her broomstick onto me as she no longer flies so I get to whiz around on it. 😄

Hard to get a photo of Minxy........ she also leaves no reflection in a mirror:Eeek::imoutahere:
There a simple answer for the lack of reflection ... I've done mods on Mum's broomstick so it goes faster than the speed of light, hence why you don't see me at all, nor that I've been flying around your tail feathers ... didn't you wonder why you had a ruffled tuft? 😆

I’m going with the original theory on the lack of reflection………

Anyway…..you could at least park straight….
