Nearly all the French have gone home.

Just a very few stragglers left.

Here at the Sidi Ouassay campsite (£9 with electric which we wouldn't have used other than we have a voltage regulator), out of twelve motorhomes here there is only ONE French one and they are strangely friendly.

Hi, did you get the old regulator fixed?

69,000 Dirham question……how heavy is the new boy? That old one weighed close to a tonne!

I think they've left the Algarve as well. (Confirmation required)

I've been lurking on the Motorhome Park Algarve site regularly and this week has seen a dramatic increase in availability on their pitches, particularly at Falesia where availability up to now has been rarer than hens teeth.

Nothing like the old one
This one weighs about the same as three bottles of wine.

They've had some rotten weather over the central area loads of rain, broken roads, broken bridges and stupid drivers. On the plus side it's been lovely here south of Agadir .

We left the strangely wonderful Sidi Ouassay in a sandstorm and shamefully went back to Camping Atlantica Immourane.

It's no more than 20% full and so much nicer than six weeks or so ago when it was full.

We never realised how lovely the flowers, trees and shrubbery are.

All change at the Grand Stade d'Agadir getting it refurbished for the Africa Cup of Nations this year and the World Cup in 2030. It's an unusual looking ground.

The work that's going on in Agadir is phenomenal to prepare it for the masses of football fans.

From a German van life forum today.
This lady took this beautiful puppy from the guardian parking at Oualidia very recently. She and her friend are now having Rabies treatment.

THANK GOODNESS they had the sense to have vets visits prior to their planned bringing it into Europe rather what some idiots do.

An expensive and emotional experience no doubt.
A lot of strays we saw were ear tagged indicating they had been neutered and vacinated against rabies but obviously from the above there are still a lot that escape the net.
