Itchy boots Season 8

I think it's this one, I think if you're going to ride trails like this a map with contours would be very useful so you get an idea of how steep the terrain is, she was a bit intimidated by the sheer drop on one side I think.

Did I hear Noraly correctly when she told the police officer she was heading to Lebanon? Maybe I misheard but if she is I'm not sure that's a very good idea.

Well we now know she's heading towards the far east, starting from Istanbul.
Looking forward to it.

She’s in Instanbul heading into Asia

Yep, good first (proper) episode. 👌

The bigger engine bike (Frankie) is a proper chugger, low revs etc, should do 10’s of thousands of KM’s very happily! Let’s just hope the German chap has done a decent job! 🤞

After the thousands of miles and safe stops she's had I hope that it wasn't complacency. I admire how she did the roadside "get you home" repair though.

I suppose it was only a matter of time, sooner or later some scumbags were bound to steal some of her stuff, but i'm also surprised it wasn't more securely chained up, and apparently no steering lock either. Let's hope the rest of her trip runs more smoothly.

I think she does real well on the board crossing, I think I would be pulling my hair out and getting stressed out having to deal with them

I'm quite concerned for her safety, Iraq are still recovering from war and sectarian violence, Iran has a lot of poor people, some who may be quite desperate, let's hope she remains well.

I have to say, I’m a little concerned for Norally at the moment! Is she too blasé these days? The length of time she’s been travelling, the obstacles she’s overcome etc etc… is her guard a little too low? I hope not! 😉🤞

The recent theft of her bike should have been a wake up call, no one is immune from the dangers of travelling. I have the utmost respect for her but sometimes worry about her safety, she is entering some dangerous countries.

Bothered by her electrics based on the last Episode! Hope it’s nothing serious. Doesn’t seem the best bike she’s had if I’m honest! 😟

She just ran the battery flat from continual stop starts over the rough terrain, it started on the kick starter and the battery recharged on her way back, she may need a new battery sooner rather then later but the kick start should always start it unless something serious happens to it.

As a non-biker I would have to agree! Alaska seemed more up to the terrain …

Saudi has been a pleasant surprise after Iran and Iraq. I did rather like Kurdistan though.

I was surprised when the Dakar was moved to Saudi love the terrain.
Noraly will at least give it a go.
Lovin this season.

I think the opposite, personally I think this bike is a lot more suited to the terrain.

I was a bit doubtful about the choice of bike, but her German bike builder's choices are proving to be good ones. In particular having a kickstart has been a saviour. She is an impressive and determined rider, but also has great ability in video filming and editing, where she has the rare skill of talking to camera as if she is talking to a person.

Amazing to see her bump into Alice Hunter Morrison, who is walking across Saudi with her guide and 2 camels! 2 of my favourite explorers in one episode. Saudi is amazing!

Couldn’t agree more… two inspiring women!
