Sounds like you have the bones of a good meet here, so count us in, subject to the usual provisos!

I live on the Isle of Wight and have been thinking about organising a meet over here next June 2023.
Potentially looking at Waverley Park in East Cowes
They can accommodate up to 26 motorhomes on their half grass and half hardstanding fully serviced pitches.
They can offer special ferry deals for 3,5,and 10 nights.
Would any of you be interested?
Looking at around 26th June.
What are the ferry costs likely to be. They don't seem to have released prices for those dates

We would be interested.

We would be interested too but have I dreamt something about a emission zone before you get to the ferry?

I'm not going to know until I contact the Waverley Park, maybe a bit early for new pricing just yet.
I'll start making some enquiries.

Wondered how long it would take someone to put a downer on such a good idea and commitment by fellow Funsters to raise such a point.!

Yes sounds brilliant, I’m game .
there seems to be a lot of interest already
Yes I've had lots of interest.
The park only has room for 26 tourers though

I don’t think asking about Portsmouths Clean Air Zone is showing negativism towards the Op but here’s a link for information, hopefully it won’t apply to many Funsters.

Thank you, as I’m not from the area I didn’t know, just that like Bath and Bristol I thought Portsmouth had an CAZ. Glad it won’t affect the ferry crossing.

Best to check, I've just done so and my 2007 Euro 4 Ducato is not charge in Portsmouth, other places yes but not there??
Could it be because it's registered with the DVLA as a 'motorcaravan'? :giggle:

Yes I could be very interested depending on final pricing etc.
