A new Journal entry has been posted Isle of Skye. You can discuss it here.
Hi Old Rascal

We are thinking of Scotland trip September, we're going to do NC500 but management doesn't want me driving narrow roads so we are thinking of Falkirk Wheel/kelpies, up to Inverness down Loch Ness and then right to Isle of Skye. What are roads like on the Isle, okay for 7.8m MHome bearing in mind once Management becomes anxious the onset of doubt grows in me.

Loved your photos of the Isle. Cheers Smudger55

Hi Smudger55 ,
You will be okay on the main roads and can get around the Isle with no problems.
There some single track roads but with plenty of passing places.
I would add that we found a lot of the roads were in poor condition, pot holes and tarmac breaking up.
We enjoyed the Isle of Skye and well worth a visit.
Hope that helps.

Thanks Old Rascal, I will reassure management.
