Is this within the lockdown law?

I live in Mansfield Notts and had an operation in Warwick General, they gave me a local anesthetic,
My question is? Was that from Mansfield or Warwick?
Puzzled Geo
More importantly was having an operation essential 😉

I think every one of us could be a Government advisor. (if we could be given a chance.)
Quite agree, I fact not only could we do a better job of advising Government, we could also do a far better job of running the government without any need for advisors.

Surely it must have been essential, folks don’t have any sort of operation just for the sake of it...do they.

That's why I put a winking emoji at the end, never mind.

It's really this simple: Garage has a time slot booked. Garages are open for business. So, call your local cop shop (police station), inform them of your intention to travel. It is then on record and nobody can complain that you are breaking the rules.

I took my car to a local garage for essential repairs in January, and walked home. I then had to go to collect it later in the day which made me feel a bit guilty as I was out twice!
Yesterday I discovered that the car now has an official recall against it, and that will be a lot trickier since it'll have to go to the main dealer which is nearly 20 miles away. I've no means of getting home from there, can't stay in the dealership at present and work as I usually do while eating their biscuits and drinking their posh coffee, so it means hanging about for half a day or possibly more with nowhere to go as everywhere's closed. So I think I'll take my chances and book the car in for a few weeks hence. Which will probably be as early as they can take it anyway depending on how many other cars have also been recalled.

Many of those 'exercising' never did any before the restrictions.
Many of us now taking daily exercise were, pre-covid, working full time and therefore getting the best exercise possible.
I personally now need to exercise to recover from covid, and having lost my job as well, can you please expalin how you consider i should go about it.
Thanks
Joe

What are these "Police Stations" you speak of? 😁

I had the clutch replaced in January and to day an MOT prebooked in both cases. No bother
I believe the girls are having their fines reviewed.

Garages are open. You have an appointment. Whether it is truly essential is open to interpretation. I would if it were me so long as it was all done covid safe.

Garages are open for service and repairs. I've been waiting for months for parts for some accident damage. Yesterday I had a call from the garage to bring the motorhome so they can complete the repair. Its not minor repair as it involves insurance claim.

I think its essential travel as I need to have the repair done so that I can sell the vehicle.

The garage is following covid guidelines and seems safe to go. You have a slot of time to drop off the vehicle and no one else is allowed to enter the building during the slot time.

After the 2 girls got fined, I'm a bit worried about travelling 15 miles to the garage.

Any thoughts?
Yes you can take it, according to the "covid rules specialist" in my local authority. I am taking ours (new last November and not used yet) to a Dometic agent next Monday to get the fridge fixed, and relying on the advice that I have received, along with contact details of the officer giving it.

People with Munchausen's syndrome can be very manipulative and, in the most serious cases, may undergo painful and sometimes life-threatening surgery, even though they know it's unnecessary.
I had a heart attack for a laugh and needed a stent
