I'm an absolute beginner and just bought a motorhome that came with these levelling items:

My assumption is that we'd use the levelling ramps where the ground is so uneven that one or two wheels need to be elevated. For slightly less uneven ground where the body only needs to be slightly raised but the wheel stays on the ground, use the jack to raise the chassis and prop the adjustable stands under the chassis. Is that correct?

I'm hesitant about using the adjustable stands if a wheel needs to be completely off the ground, or is that fine as well?

To be honest, I wouldn't bother with those yellow levelling ramps....unless you have a very short wheelbase they aren't going to achieve much in terms of levelling. We had a pair come with our first MH, after the first trip away we bought a pair of Fiamma Level Ups which were much better. We don't worry about being perfectly level - just needs to be level enough for sleeping and for water to drain in the shower. Though having said that, now we have a MH with more storage I'm eyeing up a set of Milenco Quattros (as mentioned by Geo in post #16).

We do still have those original yellow ramps....though they're useless for the MH, they're actually pretty useful for stabilising a ladder on our slightly sloping drive ;)

We use the yellow ramps - rarely. Normally moving a foot or two finds a level spot or one that can be made so with the yellow ramps. Never worry about rocking - I quite like the sensation when it's windy.

We never use yellow ramps unless we're on a campsite, we use use a couple planks of wood, just in case we have to drive off in an emergency when parking in sleepyspot off grid.

millenco ramps are superb as the wheel engages with the profile so you can sense how far you have lifted up the wheel, a well thought out design

Always drive onto ramps don't reverse on the clutch doesn't like it as reverse is higher than first.
