Is there something wrong with this +ve Terminal?

On looking for a suitable terminal on the +ve battery bus of my 2019 Fiat Ducato Swift battery to attach a B2B supply connection, I find this.
Looks like a couple of free terminals on the left (8mm & 5mm?), but is there something else going on here?
I'm no expert with this bus bar layout but is there something odd with the the 80A Fuse setup?

Looks like it's on the wrong side of the fuse or is there a fuse in line some where else? Hard to tell from that angle

Yes - the chunky red cable with the heat shrink is on the wrong side of the 80a fuse. As it stands the 80a fuse is nothing more than decoration!

I think it's the 12V feed to the Hydraulic Levelers. It goes out through the bottom of the battery box. I've yet to trace it, but am concerned if it's actually fused!

Great pic. Thanks! That is virtually identical to mine with the exception of me having the 80A fuse and cable.. Your pic shows the 12V bus on the bottom right with nothing on the left, ie. space for the fuse, suggesting my 80A fuse is actually connected to nothing.

That's what I suspected, but wasn't sure. It might be fused further down the line, so worthy of a checkout. Thank you for that.

Even if it is fused further down, it really should be fused close to the battery. The fuse is designed to protect the cable.

The only thing protecting that thick red wire is the 500A main fuse, not ideal but at least it's some protection. I'm not sure what size fuse would be appropriate for hydraulic levellers, but I think 500A is too high, and probably 80A is too low. You can get a different fuse, a Mega fuse, of the appropriate value here:

Then attach the thick red wire to the fused terminal.
For your B2B, you could get an inline Midi fuse holder and fuse, and wire it to one of the free studs on that terminal block.

If its of any help, I took my B2B connection off the larger of the spare terminals to the left of your photo. I did it that way so the B2B was on its own connection rather than piggy backing of another.

That's looking like the best place.
