chester is avoiding refunding those who cannot do not want to attend if you have not paid them any money I would avoid paying out until you are sure you are going/ they are open

Just sorted out visit to Stratford - it's just a rally now but we never went for the show (or racing) anyway, just for the chance to get away really but this time have also worked in a week to give mums carers a break afterwards.

Have booked Malvern @cos we always go to Malvern. What happens when we get there will be dependant on current conditions but we never go to the entertainment now (quality is now very poor IMO) nor do we go on the bus trips. Usually work in a week around the area before/afterwards - just love the Cotswolds. If they cancel it, well, we'll deal with it then, but for now gives us something to look forward to.

I've even resurrected our plans to return to Ireland in September - just trying to remain positive.

The latest press release I can find on showgoer.co.uk shows Norfolk cancelled Peterborough possible, wild camping only and all other shows still on at moment.

I understand Warners are sending out e mails next Monday re Peterborough and they hope to confirm details of wild camping and also opportunity to cancel or defer.

So being outside, in the van, and socially distanced will be bliss!

I think the others were from earlier this year so not for the 2021 one. For 2021 I think theres probably no rush at the moment!

Warners planned layouts very well last year for both traders and campers so they could attend as covid safe as possible.
I am looking to attend this year if tiers and lockdowns permit.

I can't see any going ahead.

1. Less people, so>traders will be reluctant, so>less traders, so>less people will go, so less traders attend.

2. SD means Entertainment severely curtailed, so> less people, so> poorer entertainment, so> (go back to 1)

3 Shows finished as we know them for at least a year.

We do very few shows, just the NEC in February and October. The last show we did was October 2019

It will probably go down as the last show Van Bitz exhibited at! We have no intention of going anywhere near a show in 2021

If restrictions are in place then a cancel it will be but if not why put your life on hold just be careful and take precautions.

I plan a weekend away yes just me and the misses and maybe a quick visit to the traders dependent on how it’s layout, managed etc.

I’ve been working everyday through this pandemic visiting houses each day in my job and again providing safety is no 1 on your plans you will be ok.

We traded a limited number of shows last year but with vastly reduced footfall we didnt actually earn any money, and lost money at Lincoln due to the terrible weather as we only traded very limited hours.
We wanted to attend some shows if only to advertise that Parrotsol Leisure were still trading. We were very careful with social distancing etc and live to fight another year!

The big one is April. We have tickets held over from last year, hoping to see Sweet snd Suzi. Having said that hopefully Sue will get her jab soon as she works in medium secure mental health. My Dad, who lives with us, gets his Friday. Me? I'm only 64, still working, reasonably healthy so probably won't get my first one till May. I'm guessing we might have to prove we have been inoculated so I have a horrible feeling we're going to miss out.
