Irish Passport

Hi,

Ireland has gained 1 million PLUS+ passport holders since the Bee Word.

So, if you never knew your parents, let alone your grandparents. Where would you start looking, Just in-case, there was a chance they were Irish and you were entitled to an Irish Passport ?

Martin's brother-in-law had an Italian Grandfather which is how he got dual nationality.

I did some research for him as his Grandfather was one of the Arandora Star victims.

combined with Covid the wait was up to ,4 years.

My friend here sent all his stuff off to the Irish foreigners office in November 2019. Finally got his passport in july/august 2023.
During this period he was entitled to his state pension & they wanted his marriage certificate. That had been sent to Ireland
