iPhone choice help

Since my last post I have had a deal offering with Vodafone which beat Mobiles.co.uk offering by miles for a new (not refurbed) I Phone XR 128GB with £49 upfront, and a 30GB data, unlimited texts.calls, £199 quids worth of warranty thrown in, oh and free delivery, for £49 quid a month. " As I am such a loyal customer" "no one else has been offered this deal yet"...yea right!

Les

Sounds an awful lot to me. That's £650 in the first year and £600 for the second year (you don't state how long the contract would be for). Have you thought of buying the phone outright from Ebay?? eg:

Then get a suitable sim-only monthly or 12-monthly deal to match your requirements EG: £8 for 3Gb 500 mins talk and unlimited texts or a Vodaphone deal for 30Gb plus unlimited everything for £20. Cheapest £3.99. Deals tend to be cheaper online than in-store. Play with this selector for best options to suit you:

Does she really need 128gb storage? Does she need more than 10gb a month? ( I use about 1gb a month but then I'm a cheapskate). Get a Samsung then, if you need more storage than it already has internally, insert whatever capacity sd you need. And go for whatever monthly sim only contract you need when you need it...?(y)

My daughter was addicted to iphones for years and laughed at android. when hers broke yet again, she tried my phone, a samsung and was hooked. much better phones and cheaper, what's not to love?
I thannnk yohw. Well said

Looks like a decision has been made, only needs to decide on a max or pocket sized. John Lewis including a two year guarantee looks very competitive.

Apple iPhone XS, sim free, 64GB, space grey £949

Apple iPhone XS Max sim free, 64GB space grey £1049

Only question still remaining is will 64GB be enough for normal use while using iCloud ?

My son has the XS Max with 64GB. Fantastic camera in that phone. 64GB is easily enough for most users.

Thanks Mtrax that 64gb is reassuring, I love a big phone but she will have to decide if it will fit in her hand bag or not.
I can see the attraction of an apple, my partner and daughter would have nothing else but I love my Android so no convincing me to swop over. :giggle:
I mentioned earlier that a recent update on my Android has added Night Mode to my camera which now brings darkness to light....brilliant. Better than Apple I'm told....;);)

I have a 3 year old Moto 4, but it’s white and looks like an iPhone at a distance ;)
