Inverter Overload - Voltage Reduction

Hi Dave, I feel this was my best/last option as it made so much sense, however, it was not to be. So its off to the shops, anyway thanks for your thoughts. Richard
Did you leave it all disconnected until the battery voltage was down around 12? If not it may have reset to the 24 v anyway if the battery was still up around 15+.

Thanks, all sorted now with new regulator, all connected in sequence and working well. So v pleased, thanks R

Done, that took a long time and seems okay. Then charged with a 'genius' smart charger, that also took a long time, but now all seems okay. As vehicle battery is also on the same circuit just about to check that now. Thanks
