Insurance companies wanting a green card to visit foreign countries
You only require a 'green card' if you wish your 'full comp' insurance to be the same as the UK. Anyone running on tpf&t or tp only doesn't need to bother. The bit of green on the bottom of the certificate suffices.
Some don't bother with them nowWhat about EHIC

fortunately I'm with adacbreakdown extra
I wouldn't let anyone out if they wish to be out then stay where it's coldDead right ! I voted for my country to be in control of its own destiny. For better or worse! I am a very happy bunny.

Because they are in the EEA which is the EU without a vote. Same as the Swiss & others.Recently I had a Norwegian friend staying with me and was surprised to see he had a driver's licence exactly like ours and he didn't need any permits to drive here and he said he drives all over Europe and doesn't have any permits. Seeing as Norway isn't in the EC why is it he doesn't need a permit?
