Insurance?

We can all imagine the worst case scenario but realistically it not ever likely to be that serious. :hugs:

I think some have thought that in the past and it’s all gone tits up for them.

I’m just risk adverse when it comes to a possible poor outcome when abroad.
Especially if outside Europe.
 
A few years ago I slipped on some ice in Andorra and broke tib and fib plus some other bits.
The hospital would not do anything until I could prove insurance cover or sufficient funds.(10k would not scratch the surface of what was required).
Thank god I had travel insurance.
Moral is you never know what is round the corner and as we now Spanish residents you will NOT get joy here unless you are properly covered.
Do you feel lucky??
 
Your son driving you home would work if you did not need medical assistance en route and also if your condition allowed you to sit in a belted seat. Traveling in a MH bed is not advised :eek:
Most of us take out insurance hoping never having to call on it. Now that's being lucky.
