Hi All,
We have owned several new/used Motorhomes since 2016. Initially we used a broker to find insurance with Axa who at the time did not offer "direct" cover only through a broker.
From memory cost then was less than £200.00 year with steadily grew more expensive with change of vehicle/year until 2023 to about £530.00. When quote received for '23/24 it shot up to 653.00 after editing out some previously included cover like oversea travel. At the same time the broker decided to change insure to Ageas.
This years renewal offer from same broker has arrived asking for £779.00.
Having looked elsewhere quotes received range from £570.00 to over £1k for same cover.
Remembering past posts on "MH" plus an Email received today from Ripe Insurance "gave it ago". Using previously used info on-line we had quite a shock when we received their quote for £376.00.
Has anyone else had such an experience and can endorse Ripe.

You can also try Total Travel protection the Gold policy, we paid £444 to them, 2 people (no age restriction but both mid 70's) 94 days I trip and medical included.

Whereas Nationwide/AVIVA wanted £738 for 82 days, similar policy - no thanks.

Worth a look at their web site and very helpful UK based staff if you want to phone.
