I have just purchased a 1000watt (pure sign) inverter that I will connect directly to the leisure batteries.
Question: would a 2metre installation be considered too long between battery and inverter?

I'm intending to run Starlink & TV (220-240v).... total around 200W and maybe an aircooler unit... an additional 150W.
Yes, I shall ultimately replace the mains TV with a proper 12v and plug into service socket.

many thanks for help :)

That's only a 30amp draw so 2m from the battery is OK as long as the cable size is big enough. Lenny HB will know šŸ‘

As it is a 1000 watt inverter best to install with cable suitable for the full load as you will probably end up running other things. So I would use at least 25mm2 cable preferably 35mm2.

What battery capacity have you got and what type of batteries, for example are they lithium? Your 200W for Starlink and TV is a lot, over 15A if the 200W figure is accurate, hopefully it isn't and the actual load will be a lot less.

The 150W for A/C seems tiny, real A/C units need you to be on EHU so I'm guessing this is one the evaporative sort. If you are only going to be using it when it's sunny and you have plenty of solar panels, 300W I think would be a minimum, it should work. :)
