thinking of getting a 2/3 person inflatable kayak and was wondering if anyone has any experience with one and could offer some insight. Just want it for paddling on lakes in France this summer with the kids. Many thanks, Noel

If I got into that position I probably wouldn't get out of it although it does look like the right position for that canoe, shame my knees are done.....

Yes new paddles would be nice actually, some wooden ones would look very cool.

Gumotex inflatable as others have said, but be careful/aware in windy conditions.

I recently bought one of these after doing quiet a bit of research. I read loads of reviews on various makes including Sevylor ones. What swung it for me was a guy ran a business renting inflatable kayaks out. He had a fleet of old Colarado's which were good in his words. However when he came to renew his stock the new Colorado's were not as good as the older models. They had gone from double seems to single seems and the material was also of a lesser quality. Before 800 Denier down to 400.
This Brand apparently is run by one of the guys who used to work for Sevylor, he left and set up this new company. They are 840 Denier material for the tubes. 1000 denier for the hull. The tubes can be replaced. We have used ours several times. It tracks well and appears very durable so far. They do a three man one. I bought the two man as its easier to carry in and out of the water.
We are very happy with it and it seems dog proof.
