I've yet to find on amazon.es a single ring portable induction hob that (if it's specified at all) accepts a 28cm pan - which is the size of a Remoska pot.

Anyone got a hob that accepts 28cm?

Anyone used a Remoska pot on a hob that's patently too small, with side effects ?

Why would you put a Remoska on a hob when they are electric powered?

The IKEA one is described as being 27cm.

Got one yesterday. Pleased with it, made scrambled eggs OK. Simmer's a bit of an issue because it does pulse on-off, but on full power (2Kw) it boiled 2 mugs of water (500ml) in 5 seconds over 2mins. Our Russell-Hobs stainless steel kettle, labelled 2-2.4Kw, did the same in 1:47.

Ahh, never thought of that. The idea was that if the air frier was doing the main menu item then the Remoska pot could be doing rice/pasta on the induction hob
Rice (maybe pasta ad well?) doesn't need to keep boiling, it'll cook nicely just keeping hot.
