Rally Chat In the news - Gatherings of more than six banned

Obviously it’s total zero zilch none 😏
(Dream the impossible dream!)
Well as you seem dead against any measures to reduce the spread of covid answer the question at what point would you agree we need to do something?

Yep
I mean look at Hancock and Boris .... masters of common sense
AND. What, do you think a government of a different colour would have done different?. The Media, and oposition, have the benefit of hindsight it should be remembered. I can give you yesterday's lottery numbers. This morning!.

Don’t worry about responding to Sue as I have worked out she is a Russian Cyberpunk with an auto response.

Unfortunately like a great deal of recent rules it is illogical, six people meet, one goes off and meets a further six people, worst still all six go off to another group each of a further six people.
I am all for being responsible and making my own decisions in the face of evidence and safety of self and others, however this is not sensible or enforceable. Plus lacks credibility in the extream.

We all know the principle of what is trying to be achieved so common sense should prevail. Don’t meet up in gatherings more than 6 = a reduced chance of it migrating from one group to another and so on.

I think Sweden have a very good approach
I agree with protecting the vulnerable
Care homes should be a priority
Hand washing is absolutely essential

we will always have this virus
Are we to continue living in this way

you know as well as I do that Our response has caused untold damage to our health and economy

Eh????
We have much more information now and there are innumerable scientists who question the continued authoritarian scientifically unfounded approach of this government
Hindsight is great
Learn from our mistakes
Don’t Continue to use fear and guilt as a means of controlling the masses
Give us facts
Why are less people dying?
What are the health state of those that do?
How well is the NHS coping ( and remember it’s here to serve us, not us to serve it)
Headlines showing increasing positive results are not the full picture
( I know of only one person who tested positive... lives in the north...a 40 year old who has a runny nose .and lost her sense of taste.. no one else in the house tested positive and my dear friend actually said she felt fine)
Please forgive me if I don’t reply to any response, it’s just so tedious ...
I’m annoyed that I keep getting sucked in☹

One expert!!. Was saying lock down the over 60's. An let the youngsters go about their socialising. Cheeky begger. My answer would be to round them all up late evening. And put them in barracks for 14 days.! We have empty camp sites and a standing army to Marshall them!.

It sure has but no where near as much dammage as doing nothing would have or doing the same as Sweden in a country with our population density.

What ! ... you think the 'expert opinion' might be wrong ?......
Their figures at the moment are pretty good I don't know if they're as good as their neighbours still but in a low population density country it's what you'd expect.

There was talk if figures get worse we will be in lockdown again next week

Where was the 'talk' ?..... Daily Mail/Sun or down the pub..? ..... deaths are still below normal...

Do you think we should carry on as normal then until deaths reach the levels in April or regardless even if they go above that?

On the sky news preview tonight a top scientist said if people don’t buck there ideas up

A 'top scientist said'..... well that's it then....

.... must be true....

What evidence of hospitalisations, deaths from Spain and France...

Whatever has happenned to stats from Italy ? - where it started in Europe....

I struggle to see how they can get back up to that figure as most of those who were extremely vulnerable have died. The vast majority now who would be at risk are those who still have underlying health problems, are over weight, etc.
here we are setting records with new cases yet can't see that with 240 deaths a week we are going to get near the 900/day back at the end of march
