In France boiler issues W402h (1 Viewer)

In France and the electrics have just tripped. I have an AS with Thetford fridge and Truma 6e boiler.

The fridge had to be stopped and started in order to get it on gas despite being on automatic, don’t know why?

When I put the gas hot water and heating on I get error w402h error. This usually refers to lack of electric. The water was on hot and the heating on 18 eco. To much for it?

On the positive side great sunrise.

Assuming you're on hook up, is the electric supply low power ie 6A ?? It might not be an issue with your van, it might be the supply

The " W " prefix normally refers to an error. It can sometimes be reset by turning of the boiler completely by pressing in and holding for 10 secs the rotary switch. Leave it off for 15mins or so. Then switch back on. If this doesn't work a hard reset might be required, which involves accessing and pressing a small button on a panel on the boiler. If this is an operation you're comfortable doing turn of the power first. There are lots of threads on this issue. Enter the fault code in the search area and you'll find a video of how to do it.

Quite common in Morocco for voltage to drop very low, have seen 180v, and this almost always causes problems with fridges no matter anything else. I'd bet low voltage is your problem, even in France.

Does it work properly when you're NOT on hookup, i.e.on gas?

The error code suggests it is overheating. I put hot water on hot and heating on same time. Then changed to hot water only and then after about 5 mins put heating on (all on gas) seemed to work.

I'd carry on for the moment and keep an eye on what is happening. Unfortunately it sounds to me like your PCB is playing up
